I am contemplating the deception

that Holiness is grimness.

... "to many of us,

holy people look as if they have been

steeped in vinegar and then soaked

in embalming fluid."

If however,

Holiness in its meaning

is Wholeness.

My goodness.

How amazing would it be

to feel whole as a person.

How like the devil to deceive me

from God's good gifts.

C.S. Lewis:

The more we let God take us over,

the more truly ourselves we become.

He invented us.

He invented all the different people that

you and I were intended to be.

It is when I turn to Christ,

and give up myself to His personality,

that I begin to have a real personality of my own.
